This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I truly love to see my students doing is reading their favorite books with their friends in an organized, leveled library where they have space to get comfortable. The leveled library carts would give way more space and organization in the students’ library than the bulky and old bookshelves that currently hold all our books. My students need a library with books that are labeled with their interests and levels so that books are more accessible. The library carts will also give students a clear system for finding books they like that they can read independently, and help keep their reading logs organized.
