I have a class of 26 second graders!

I have a wide range of ability levels in my classroom in both math and reading. There are 14 girls and 12 boys. My school building is made up of kindergarten through 4th grade students. This is my first year with this district and I am very excited about this new adventure!

My Project

Due to the wide variety of ability levels in my classroom I need to provide an outstanding leveled library for my students. If I don't have enough books at a certain level then students at that level may become bored and disinterested in reading. Reading is key to learning in all subject areas!

This project will make a difference because the students will have the materials available to them that will make reading interesting.

It will help create students who are college and career ready!
