My Students
My school has a diverse group of students who are so eager to learn! My class consists of 19 kindergarten students who have never been to school before (preschool was virtual last year)! They are excited to be in a school building for the first time ever this school year.
My Project
These books will help build a classroom library that supports my students' love for literacy! My classroom has a number of books, but no set of leveled readers for my students to read independently. Having books in the classroom, that are on the level with my students, will boost their confidence in reading and will help them grow as early readers. My students are still learning to read and I am hoping this project will give them the extra boost they need to be confident readers as they head into first grade.
