Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of my students are full of energy and have an excitement for learning. They appreciate the little things, which makes teaching so amazing. I can show my class a picture of something too simple, and they come up with tons of questions and observations.

My 26 students are amazing kids and aim to always have a growth mindset.

My school is a Title I school and works as a team. We strive to see growth in each and every one of our students and, in order for that, they need to receive the best education and differentiated instruction. I believe I could make that difference in each of my first graders, and I am excited to see what the growth and hard work my class accomplishes this year and in future years.

My Project

I want to be able to provide ENGAGING books at their levels that they can read in the classroom, using books they are able to feel confident reading.

I believe I could make that difference in each of my first graders and that starts with more books and recourses to help them become readers!
