Help me give my students the opportunity to read chapter books that are on their level.

My Students
Each of my students comes with a unique set of baggage that may include academic deficiencies, social challenges, economic disadvantages, language acquisition and emotional struggles, but they do not let that define who they are. Everyday, they amaze me with their determination and perseverance. They are eager to learn and ready to tackle the world.
Our classroom culture is built around embracing these unique experiences.
We learn acceptance through character building, collaboration, learning to trust others, and compassion as part of our daily work.
My Project
As early readers progress through the first grade, they move from simple decodable readers to leveled readers, and from picture books to chapter books. Level two and Level three readers are a great way to transition my students towards full on chapter books. The books are heavy in both illustration and text complexity.
Chapter books help introduce children to enriching, yet more complex story telling that helps develop inferential reading skills.
Currently my selection of leveled chapter books is extremely limited. I would love the opportunity to introduce my young readers to chapter books after winter break.
