My Project
I love how my students show up every day ready to learn, help each other, and put in their best effort no matter what challenges they face. They bring so much energy, laughter, and kindness into our classroom, and they truly deserve a day to just be kids and enjoy each other’s company. A Fun Day is a chance for them to take a break from their hard work, spend time outdoors, and make happy memories with their classmates. It gives them the chance to relax, build stronger friendships, and celebrate all they have accomplished together. I want this day to remind them that their hard work is seen and appreciated, and that school can be a place for joy and connection too.
To make this special day happen, I am requesting a grill to serve up delicious meals, exciting outdoor games like giant Jenga and tug-of-war to keep them active and engaged, and hoverboards with safety gear to add extra fun and movement.
A cotton candy machine will give them a sweet treat they’ll love, and a large tent will provide shade and a comfortable space to rest and cool off between activities. These resources will help create an unforgettable Fun Day where my students can laugh, play, and enjoy a sense of community. They will get to build teamwork skills, practice positive social interactions, and end the year feeling proud and celebrated. This Fun Day will give them memories they’ll carry with them long after they leave my classroom.
