it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of dry erase boards and counters will be a daily activity in the classroom, especially in reading and language arts. Using the read by design model, students come to the small group table with their boards and foam counters for guided practice and to model phonemic awareness strategies. The boards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. Having the multi-purpose board allow literacy activities in one convenient place. No need to have loose papers all over the table and time wasted sharpening pencils for writing. As a push teacher, space is limited. By having these boards, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their focus and learning!
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement in literacy.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not the limited space and abundance of loose materials at their table.
