My Project
My students love reading!! My goal for this project is to provide a variety of books for my students to practice their fluency and comprehension skills. The Literacy Footprints Book Closet, Level E Kit contains sequenced, high-quality leveled texts in a variety of genres. Students will encounter traditional tales, realistic fiction, fantasy, and informational text. We will practice reading these new books in class. Students will take home the book to read to family members as well. They will be able to show their families their progress.
My students will excel in their reading fluency and comprehension when they have books at their individual reading levels.
They will build their confidence through reading these new books independently or with a partner. New books are a great way to encourage more independent reading!
