This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am an avid reader. I love reading, and I enjoy passing that on to my students. I'm always showing children how much fun reading is, and that reading the right book will help take them on fantastic adventures!
My school is nestled in between two housing projects, and my students don't have as many opportunities as they deserve.
They love to read, and while there is an excellent library available to them, it doesn't update its books often and they get worn down. Nevertheless, my students love to read and are always looking for books on their level.
My Project
I am asking for a variety of leveled readers for my classroom. By donating to this project, you will give my students a chance to chose books, with fantastic adventures and stories, that are on their reading level. With your help, they will be able to dive into great books, and be able to fully comprehend what they are reading 100% on their own!
I want my children to continue to love reading, and to read as often as they can.
The more they read, the bigger their world becomes, and the more they are learning. Thank you so much for considering my class!
