My Project

This project will help my gifted students while we work on multiple STEM projects in the gifted classroom here at Byhalia Elementary School. Legos are a great material for students to use in being creative. This will allow them to use their imagination to create things like structures, towers, vehicles, and people/animals. In the gifted classroom we have a wide variety of grades (2-6) and ability levels. These students are the think outside the box kind of kiddos! For example, one of my students was at lunch one day and someone asked if the chicken had bones in it? His reply was of course not! He added they are chicken strips because they strip the bones out of it! I laughed the rest of lunch because I had never thought of it quite like that, but he had a good point!
