This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very enthusiastic learners. They enjoyed every aspect of learning in the classroom. They come from low income families and lack the necessities for remote learning.
With the proper tools, my students could carry this love of learning to their homes.
These early learners deserve a high quality learning experience even though they are no longer in the school building.
My Project
The COVID-19 pandemic has led our students to finish this year's learning at home. Many of my students come from low income homes. Unfortunately these children do not have the resources and tools they need to accomplish many learning goals. For these early learners, learning activities need to be engaging and can require a variety of materials.
Magnetic letters would make a great impact on these students as they learn to read.
With this resource they will be able to build words and sentences. This tool will help set these students up for success as they prepare for Kindergarten.
