Kindergarten is a busy place with students who need to be kept engaged in their learning. Having individual sets of letters and boards will allow for all children to participate in whole group and small group learning activities.
Having tools they can use to manipulate helps them not to become distracted and to be actively participating in learning.
We will use these boards along with our new literacy curriculum that requires them to make and change words. They not only will be spelling, but will also be reading words that they make. I'm hoping also, that having individual boards will save time with management as well.
