This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm a 4th grade bilingual teacher in Texas. My emergent bilingual students are using Zearn, a math application that supports their math learning. They have a weekly goal of completing 3 or more lessons per week. I reward them every week for achieving their weekly goal and every time they complete a Zearn mission.

The snacks and prizes are going to be used to reward them every week for completing their Zearn goals.

My students are working hard every day to make sure they complete their goal. I love how they don't give up; they are always asking questions when they don't understand, they collaborate with each other, and they help their peers who are struggling with their goal.
