This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are struggling in writing. I want them to have an exciting and fun way to express themselves with words. Using different colored and types of pens and pencils will make our writing station a place the students want to write at.

The workstation will help develop skills in writing, social-emotional learning, growth mindset and building relationships.

The cards will strengthen social-emotional learning in the classroom with engaging prompt cards! This activity will be great for daily writing. The cards cover topics such as friendship & teamwork, self-control and more. The students simply pick a card from the mystery box and begin to write.
