My Project
My Pre K students are AWESOME! They are smart, funny, kind, courageous, and eager to learn when they arrive at school. We are a low income school in a low income neighborhood where all students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. They are are willing to push through anything they are are given to do no matter how easy or hard it is for them or what they may face each day.
My project is for Dry Erase Boards for writing and math, a organizer and a short teacher chair.
My students love to do Write the Room and Count the Room. I really believe my students will enjoy these dry erase boards for writing and counting. It will give them more of a variety of ways to do these activities.
As we do our small groups, I like to be on the floor with them at their level because they like to use their portable desks which were granted in our first donors choose. But at my age, I have a hard time sitting in the floor. So I am also asking for a short teacher chair so I can be at their level in the floor all the time. The organizer that is being asked for is to store the students individual boxes of supplies they use everyday for my small group area.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
