My Students

Our school is located in a small community. With more than 85% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch, it's hard not to spend my own money for classroom items.

My students are sweet, caring kids.

They love to learn and light up my day with their smiles! My students love to learn new things, share their ideas with each other, and even teach each other.

My students make me proud to be a teacher with all of their hard work and dedication.

My Project

Recently our school adopted a new writing curriculum. In order to effectively implement this curriculum, my students need supplies. This new curriculum allows me to teach my students how to use Thinking Maps to organize their thoughts and then use those Thinking Maps to write.

Writing is important for third grade!

I want my students to have a love for writing. The supplies on this project will allow me to make writing fun! The binders will be used to organize their writing, the colored pens will be used to show them how to properly set up a multi-paragraph essay, and the pencils will be used for all of the writing! This project will help my students learn to love writing!
