My Students
My students have been working very hard at home to not only complete their work but to also take care of their siblings and basically be a teacher to them as well.
This is a very scary time but living in NYC, these kids are exposed to so much more on such a more serious level.
My students are scared and just want to come back to school and just like everyone, be normal again! All of their things are still left where they left them in their lockers so many of my kids don't have simple things like notebooks, markers, and pencils.
My Project
Seeing my students all left their supplies in their lockers at school, they are missing the basic supplies needed while stuck at home. The students have Ipads, but they still need paper and pencils to complete their work.
Getting supplies is normally not easy for my students, without the supplies they actually did have, my kids are struggling.
I would love to be able to supply my students with the basic supples needed to finish the rest of the school year and also use when school begins in the fall.
