Help me give my students new whiteboards that have lines that will help them learn number and letter formation correctly so they can be strong writers.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Beese's classroom raised $160

My Students
My 30 students are inner-city students who attend a public school where funding has been cut significantly. Their parents chose a public school because they do not have many options due to finances, which in turn does not provide the schools with a ton of support. My students love to learn through play and blended cooperative learning. They love to learn through hands-on activities and be very active. I always try to create my lessons to meet their needs. My school can't always provide the materials needed for these engaging lessons.
My Project
My students are five and six-year-old kindergartners at a Title I public school in Philadelphia. Being a Title I school, many of the students live in poverty. For many of them, this is will be their first formal schooling experience. By providing a print-rich environment, daily guided reading during Blended Learning and small group instruction, my students are sure to succeed!
In order to comply with COVID-19 safety precautions, my students need their own white boards to stay safe and healthy!
New white boards would ensure that my kindergarten students can practice their literacy and math skills without the added fear is spreading germs. White boards are a great way to practice sight words, addition and subtraction problems and penmanship. These boards are double-sided so the students can work on using lines to help prepare them for first grade. These new white boards would be utilized in all subject areas throughout the school day!
