My Students
My students are diverse. They come from many different backgrounds. This neighborhood has many new immigrants. Our students vary from regular education kids to mainstream kids as well as 12:1 kids.
Our school's motto is "Committed to Excellence." We strive to give our students the best resources we can.
Many of them need hands-on materials and manipulatives so that they can "see" what is happening. Most days we break up into small groups to do mini-lessons to review or strengthen concepts.
Our goal is to try our best to help the kids meet their goals!
My Project
Remote learning has been a challenge for many people, especially students. Families and students have been providing learning supplies on their own at home. However, it is time to refill those supplies. Some students are sending in work completed with crayons or markers because they don't have any more pencils.
We all know writing is important and having the right tools are just as important.
I want to provide my students with a set of pencils that they can use for the rest of the school year. Students should be excited when they are writing and doing their work, not bogged down with trying to figure out what to write with.
