My Students

This year, I have a class of twenty-seven students. From what I have learned so far, a good majority do not like reading! I am excited to take on this challenge by exposing students to different types of books and reading material to help them see that reading is fun!

My Project

These materials will help my students with not only furthering their academics, but also giving them opportunities to build friendships and problem solving skills. I am in need of games for my classroom that students can play during indoor recess or earned break times.

Having structured games allows students to find others with common interests and make new friends.

I am also asking for different book sets that will help build novel sets for the whole fourth grade. Every year I invite parents into my classroom to participate in book clubs. This helps students have small group discussions with an adult about what they read, and exposes them to many different genres to try and help them find the perfect genre for them!
