Let’s Work Together For A Well Functioning Community

Help me give my students A clear hands on approach to community awareness and development. The community worker puppets will help my students explore / act out what different members of our community do.

My Project

I have a beautiful array of students. Most are from hard working military families. The students are learning to work together for the betterment of our school/ classroom community. I want to launch the school year with lessons about how we build happy, strong communities by everyone working together. The community puppets are so beneficial.The students will be able to use these inviting puppets to act out the importance of their individual jobs. The books will give a perfect explanation as to what people do in communities. The kids will also get to design their own communities by using these wood blocks and buildings. I want the kids to understand how we have to work together and depend one another to become a strong class/community just like communities in the real world.
