My Project

The pandemic has created an environment of isolation and many emotional needs that need repairing. My students need classroom supplies that initiate team-work and positivity. I have requested SEL games, books and task cards that will engage the students in meaningful conversations while creating a safe and healthy environment. Many items on my list will be used to work in pairs or in groups around the classroom. Several supplies on my list will help soothe students that struggle with emotional, social or behavioral needs. I do have a few basic reading, writing, math and art supplies that our classroom so desperately needs.

Students who are provided with safety, comfort and basic classroom supplies have been proven to do well academically, behaviorally and socially.

Through this project, my students will be given the necessary and adequate items to help them grow in all areas.
