Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting jumbo building blocks for kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students to use during outdoor recess time. Currently, students don’t have any outdoor equipment to use during recess and we have seen an increase in students playing games that end up with them pushing or arguing. Students are so creative and need tools to spark their imagination. These blocks are sturdy and durable and we will be able to use them for years to come. Having activities for students to use during recess will help minimize students' undesired behavior. Students will learn to share blocks with others and have fun.
