This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students bring energy, curiosity, imagination, creativity, language, and great social skills! But, my students also need the hands-on age appropriate materials that will help enhance what they bring in knowledge. I have a new group of young learners who learn through play about the real world. They are also STEAM academy learners who have the possibility of the 21st Century Learning! Their eagerness to learn brings great joy in the classroom where they are exploring the environment in real life situations.
My Project
The materials will help develop a sense of community for my early learners as they explore, manipulate ideas while brainstorming block formation.
These materials will enhance learning from home for those who are learning from home during this unprecedented time and in the physical building hands-on learning.
Students will learn to stack, use measurements, make estimations, predictions on how tall, how wide, how long, the number of rooms a building can have as they explore new ideas as they UNLOCK the PRESCHOOL BUILDING BLOCKage while having fun learning at home and in school!
