This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am inspired by my students daily. They are 43 of the most enthusiastic, energetic, and curious students I have had the pleasure of teaching. This will be my second year as their teacher, as I have looped with them from fourth grade to fifth grade. They are highly energetic and bring enthusiasm to everything they do. I am amazed daily how inquisitive they can be. They are my inspiration when creating challenging and thought provoking lessons. They amaze me daily! I am fortunate to be their teacher and hope to impact their lives as they have already impacted mine.
My Project
The Insignia 10.1 tablets will help provide my students with the ability to conduct research, create video clips, view educational videos, and take photographs on various topics as part of our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) curriculum. It will also allow students to access various interactive websites for math and science. As part of our Cambridge program, we will utilize the tablets to learn about all aspects of water conservation. Incorporating technology In today's classroom is needed to motivate, inspire, and cultivate students' interest.
The use of technology will foster curiosity in my students and allow them to reach beyond the classroom!
