This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is for the perfect combination- a great book & some "toast"y pillows to sit, lay, and get comfortable with.
Creating life-long readers is my ultimate goal; to do this, we need new titles on the shelves and new pillows for students to get comfortable.
These "toast"y pillows will be a huge draw but this new novel will hook my students. A dystopian novel set for upper elementary/middle school aged students will be a draw. We are looking at strong characters and how we develop when faced with adversity. We can't wait to get started.
