My Project

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist at a Title I school. I am currently working with 70 students whose disabilities range from Autism to Intellectual Delays and from ages 3-12 years old.

This funded project will help to provide my students with sensory items, rewards for participating in speech, new language materials, and new activities to promote language development.

Some of the materials will allow to work on language development and prepositions. Other items will allow students who need a sensory break or fidget while participating in speech to focus on the task at hand.

The laminator will help to create new materials to use with my students.
