My Project

After 30 years in the classroom, I will be in a new role where I will visit classrooms and focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). As I visit classrooms, I would love to share a read aloud with each class. I am requesting a variety of read alouds to use with my younger students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

These read alouds will give students the opportunity to help them gain a better understanding of themselves and the people around them.

Talking about social emotional learning provides powerful learning for everyone. SEL supports student mental health, increases positive behavior, and strengthens academic performance.
