This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In Sports Medicine class which is Physiology & Anatomy, my students thrive with hands-on experience. With every body system studied, we do hands-on labs and relate the content back to their everyday lives.
Students will learn how to suture with these kits and get to examine different forms of epithelial tissues under a microscope.
The excitement of my students reinvigorates me yearly, as I teach them about science! Listening to them share stories about their health experiences and realize their love of science and health is my reason!
