Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a fourth grade teacher of an amazing group of 9 and 10 year old children. They live in a neighborhood that is stricken by a high level of poverty. All of them qualify for the free food program. This, however, does not hinder their excitement of learning. When they walk into the classroom each morning, they are ready to work relentlessly. They are so eager to please and are ready to take in anything presented to them. This is one reason I continue to appreciate and love my job even more.
My Project
The command hooks and refills will be utilized to hang or display anchor charts on the wall for the children to refer to daily when they get stuck on learning skills. They will also be helpful to show-off the student's art projects and classwork. Yet, still another purpose for these items is to safely protect our newly painted walls with out causing damage when regularly changing the work.
By donating to this project, you will be a contributor to help boost my student's confidence level and give them a sense of pride in their personal work.
