My Project

My students are exceptional in every sense of the word. They come from diverse, low-income backgrounds and face challenges every day, yet each one brings their own spark, strength, and perspective to the classroom. I have the privilege of teaching students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, all of whom have disabilities ranging from Autism to intellectual and physical impairments.

Based in a metropolitan area, I travel between schools to adapt the art curriculum to meet the unique needs of these incredible learners.

Our time together is filled with energy, curiosity, and creativity. My students absolutely love art, and every child I teach brings a special gift to the table. My goal is to create a safe, enriching space where each student feels supported, inspired, and free to be themselves without fear of judgment.

That’s why I’m so excited about the art materials I’ve requested like the class pack of Do-a-Dot Markers, Crayola Crayons, assorted Crayola Washable Paints, and plenty of paper. These vibrant, hands-on tools will open up countless opportunities for my students to express themselves, explore their imaginations, and develop important fine motor skills, all while experiencing the joy and freedom that art can bring.
