Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Middle school is an amazing place. My students are enthusiastic, positive, and ready to learn. As we think about and return from Winter Break, all I can think about is the upcoming State Testing. I want them to be fully prepared for state testing.
Through some school fundraising, I was able to purchase Wipebooks; however, these Wipebooks, which are large poster-sized whiteboards, require special Lumocolor markers for better usage.
I plan to station the Wipebooks around the classroom to conduct tutorials, practice, and team collaborations. Through the use of non-permanent such as white erase makers, pens and correcting makers, I will be able direct students to produce work, conduct informal assessments of their learning, and give instant learning support. The colored paper will allow me to print and create folders for student reference as we begin reviewing for the upcoming state test in a few weeks. With the playing cards students will review concepts such as integers, rational numbers, rates and proportions, and rational numbers through various task and activities. The materials from this project such as the markers, paper, teaching, playing cards will provide learning, reviewing concepts fun, interactive, and more hands-on. My students love to learn and have tried their hardest to fill in the gaps the pandemic brought to their learning.
