Help me give my students the resources to understand how to construct letters as they learn to use the written language and then the next step of spelling basic words using the letters they've learned.

My Students

My amazing kindergartners are so excited to learn. They want to know everything 'right now'. We cover so many basic concepts that they will need for the rest of their lives. I love seeing them get so excited when they understand.

Kindergarten is a year full of changes and lots of learning, I want to give my students their best chance this year.

I know how pivotal this year is and am excited to help them understand more than ever this year!

My Project

The letter construction materials will help my students who struggle with fine motor skills to learn the construction of the letters, while developing the muscles in the hands to create the letter with a pencil or crayon later.

Once these motor skills are well on their way to being developed, we want to take the knowledge of letters to the next level and start creating words.

With the cvc word sets my students who are ready to start reading will be able to create words from the pictures and create sight words that will help them on their way to constructing sentences and progressing in the world of written language.

This year is the one that starts their world of learning, I'd like to start it right!
