My students need math games, a pencil sharpener timers and other basic supplies to start the new school year.

My Students

Basic school supplies can help make the new school year start off right.

My thirty-three energetic fourth graders are a happy, diverse and curious group.

They are looking forward to a great year and have a very positive attitude toward all subject areas. This class worked very hard last year to boost their test scores and say they will repeat this feat again.

My Project

Although I am asking for some basic supplies such as a pencil sharpener, sand timers and white boards, I am also asking for some fourth grade-level math games. The basic supplies are always useful. The math games are important because they can provide this class with a fun way to learn math. Learning is easy when you are having fun! The white boards will come in handy saving paper and helping us be a little more "Eco" friendly.

My students are very serious about their learning but they also like to have fun when they learn, so the math games will serve a dual purpose.

A pencil sharpener might not seem exciting, but sometimes the basics are important.
