This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we are heading into our class quarter of the school year, I want to have lots of fun and joy in the classroom. This year has been especially tough on so many levels. However, seeing the students having fun and the smiles on their faces make everything worthwhile! My students LOVE to do art and they are so creative. I want to be able to give them all the tools they need to showcase their talent and creativity. My students have also grown so much as readers and I want to diversify our library with some graphic novels to encourage students to read all types of books!
