My students are incredible human beings. They are highly gifted and capable of achieving so much. As gifted individuals, they tend to be very quick learners, intense, emotional, curious, imaginative and quirky. They need an environment that is comfortable, safe, full of choices, that gives them the opportunity to learn, question, explore, problem solve, and to think critically.

Classrooms should be a place where children feel inspired. By giving them choices for projects, seating, and more, I can nurture their sense of self and, at the same time, allow them to move, increase blood flow to their brains and core, and help them to stay more alert and focused.
