it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Community service opportunities empower our students to succeed and lead by engaging them in meaningful service that makes a positive impact on our community.
We want our Novilleros to share the love by giving away fidget toys to some of our local elementary special education students!
Having our middle school students have an opportunity to make a positive impact on elementary students will give them a lasting impression that will help all students involved. It provides elementary special education students with the fidget items they need and it builds empathy for our students as well. We will invite members of our student organizations to visit a local elementary school before school to distribute the fidget toys. The elementary school day starts almost an hour before the middle school does, allowing our students to perform community service and be back to campus for the start of their school day. Give out the fidgets, spread smiles, and share the love!
