This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you ever wondered what a plant cell looks like? What about a cross section of your hair? An amoeba? With your help, I hope to be able to show all of those things and more to my students.

My classroom is a buzz of activity, focused on giving kids the opportunities that they may not get elsewhere.

My 5th grade class is in a high-need, low income public school, nestled in the heart of Southern California. Each of the students in my class is a vibrant, excited learner, who looks for the next opportunity to gain knowledge.

My Project

Science is a subject that many students just adore. It is so interesting for them to conduct experiments, look through a microscope, and see the world in a completely different light. The requested materials will help them to do exactly that. The microscope will enable all of my students to enjoy the cells and organisms we are studying at one time. They will be able to explore the teeniest parts of our world all together. Using the experiments requested, as well as the literature, the students will gain a vast knowledge about that small, unseen part of our universe.

By donating to this project, you will be helping my students to see the world in a way they never have before.

An interest may be sparked that will cause the student to become the next scientist or doctor. Inside of them will grow an interest in the parts of our universe very rarely seen, and create lifelong seekers of new knowledge. Your small donation can cause great changes in my students!
