This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help give me students a better learning environment. The old rugs at school can be very dirty and students have no choice but to sit on the floor. In 2nd grade much of the learning happens at carpet time. Having a new rug with help students feel more comfortable on the floor. Also, having stools helps reduce the hassle of students having to bring their desk chairs to small groups. We have no transition time in the schedule and that takes away from learning. Please consider helping fund my classroom for these items.
