Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
More often than not, students do not have access to books. In my classroom, we strive to help students expand their vocabulary and reading stamina. With these books, students will be exposed to literature they may have not seen yet. We want to also reduce screen time when students are finished with their classwork. Having these books in a reading corner will help students explore their interests in different genres of books.
All students should have access to these materials and as an educator my mission is to always create a safe and calm environment for my students.
These books in a reading corner will definitely be that for my students.
