This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having access to books is so important for students. My students can access new books in our classroom library with this project. This will help them improve their reading, critical thinking, and language skills and allow my students to develop their love of reading further.
Reading opens up many new worlds and possibilities for students; these books will do just that!
So many of my students enjoy sitting in our reading nook independently. They often ask, "Can we read for a few more minutes?" This project will give my students so many more book options to help them improve their reading and read about topics they are interested in.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
