This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading is a magical part of school. When the teacher reads you their favorite book you see something magical happen to them. They are sharing a special piece of them that you will now be able to share.
I want to give my students a variety of books that they can choose from that will help them during difficult times or something that relates to their own culture.
Books are an amazing thing that can help anyone create empathy for people they do not know. I want to be able to give my students a variety of picture books that will make a huge difference to them. My students who come from different cultures will be able to find books that are bilingual and even some holiday books that they can get excited about. I want my students to love reading as much as I love it.
