This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Spanish is a global language and my students enjoy learning all about it. Unfortunately, my school does not have a Spanish collection of books, so I would like to have books that will hold their interests and allow them to practice what we are learning in class.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student language skills but you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and access to a whole other culture.
With these new books, my students will be able to access new vocabulary, generate ideas through book discussions and make connections to text.
