My Students
The students in my class are curious and eager-to-learn young individuals. Majority of my students are English language learners, and about a third of my class consists of students with various special needs or disabilities, such as learning disability, autism, and speech or language impairment.
To provide best instruction and meet my students at their present level of performance I often need to incorporate lots of visuals, hands-on activities, and various management tools.
Each student in my classroom is a unique learner; together, however, my students make up a great group of young learners who, I hope, would continue their learning journey and grow up to be well-rounded individuals.
My Project
The “Storyworks” magazine subscription would allow my students to immerse in the world of fascinating stories and articles.
The variety of genres provided by the “Storyworks” magazines would spark meaningful conversations and grab the interest of my students while helping them practice the necessary reading skills.
Various differentiated tools and resources that are available with the subscription would help me reach all of my students’ needs and help them expand their knowledge and sharpen the necessary skills. The video and audio features offered with the “Storyworks” subscription would be very beneficial for the students with special needs and English language learners.
