Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school has seen an increase of students whose native language is Spanish. We currently have a small collection of Spanish books.
Our goal is to increase the collection so that students have a greater access to books in their native language.
We would like for them to have a variety book options available to them- fiction and nonfiction. Including the much requested graphic novels! Any additional books added to our library collection would greatly benefit our students. We want to nurture students interest in reading and create life long learners.
