This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I provide speech therapy in a special education public school in NYC. I work with children with autism in a low income elementary school in the Bronx. My students are eager to learn and have some fun. Reading should be fun and interactive and its an important component in my therapy sessions.

I love when my students are excited to read their favorite books and engage in conversations about the story with excitement.
