My students need transportation to get to the theater and funds to cover the cost of the program. This will be an educational program about animals and their habitats.
My students are part of an entire grade level full of excited first grade students in a high-needs school district. Have you ever been to a live theater performance? Many of our students don't have the opportunities to see live theater performances, much less perform in one themselves!
How great would it be to let all of the first grade students be a part of the show?
This project will do just that- give them the chance to be a part of a live theater performance.
My Project
The first grade teachers at my school want to give the entire grade level of students the opportunity to learn and have fun at the same time. This project will provide transportation and the cost of a program that lets our students learn about theater, learn about animals, and be a part of the show.
Our students will get to perform what they learn in front of a live audience!
The students will work with actors at the theater to learn parts of a show on animals and their habitats. The students will then get a chance to perform for an audience of their friends and family! This is a great experience that builds their knowledge as well as their confidence.
