I have a wonderful group of third graders. They are the kindest group of kids, but how can they create community within the school. It's easy. They will take pictures of the many members of the school community and create a bulletin board in the office to make everyone feel like an essential part of the school.
This is a great way to show their appreciation for the support that they receive from the adults at the school.
My students will start their project right away. They will take the camera out to recess and take pictures of the supervisers and teachers on duty. Next, they will head to the office and take pictures of the office staff and support staff. They will use these pictures to create a bulletin board in the office so that everyone knows who is who?
This will be a great opportunity for my students to have... and a great way to show the staff that we see and appreciate the hard work they do.
