Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Using these fidget and sensory toys, stickers, snacks, and other items as a reward system will encourage my students to follow directions and complete class work while having tools readily available. Be more motivated and successful in class. This will decrease their opportunities of behavioral challenges and maintain attention. The goal for this project is to help my students who are either on the spectrum and/or emotionally irregulated reach their social emotional goals as indicated in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Each one of my students are special and have many strengths, that through fidgets, tools and incentives can shine and become successful in and outside of school.
My students can be very successful if we could provide them with positive encouragement, reinforcement and rewards.
