This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the largest amount of students in my classroom - more than any other room at my school. I am currently teaching thirty-one first-graders in a Title I school, located in a high poverty and high crime area of Pennsylvania.
All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken. I have three special education students and four ESL (English as a Second Language) students in my classroom. Six of the students in my classroom have an in-class social worker.
My Project
My first graders need black ink as well as colored ink in order for them to print their stories and activity sheets from RAZ-KIDS. They also need bright card stock paper so that their story books do not fall apart. My students will be reading their story books and completing their activity sheets both at home and in class. Please support my first graders in getting reading books and activity sheets that are at their own level.
We would love if you could please help us get Brother colored ink TN 221 and Black ink TN 225 as well as lots of bright paper.
